Hawzah News Agency- According to a statement released by Hamas on Monday, president Pezeshkian reiterated Tehran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people during his conversation with al-Hayya, while also commemorating the late leader Ismail Hanniyeh.
Pezeshkian also pledged full backing for Palestinian decisions, stressing Iran’s solidarity and continued support even as Iran faces ongoing attacks.
The Iranian president congratulated al‑Hayya on his election as head of Hamas’s political bureau, underscoring the value of maintaining direct channels of communication between Tehran and the Movement.
He also emphasized the need for the Islamic world to coordinate its efforts to address common issues and support the Palestinian cause.
For his part, Khalil al‑Hayya expressed appreciation for the president’s call, praising Iran’s strong support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.
The Hamas leader affirmed that the Palestinian people would never relinquish their rights and would use every legitimate means to achieve their aspirations.
